Mozilla More Secure Than Microsoft Outlook: French Army

The French government is shifting to other open source software such as Linux instead of Windows and OpenOffice instead of Microsoft Office.
 
Monday, December 14, 2009 The French military is now using the Thunderbird client on over 80,000 computers as it finds Mozilla's latest email client more secure than Microsoft Outlook. The department found Mozilla's open source design permitted France to build extensions for security, while Microsoft's proprietary software allowed no extensions to be made.

No more new web addresses after 3 years.

An evolution in the internet world is about to come when all the available web addresses are allotted,that means no more new web addresses with 2 or 3 years.The European commission has already warned the internet world.
The process of sending and receiving date through web address is monitored and done by Internet Protocol Version.


The current IPV we are using is IPV4.IPV4 has 4.3 billion addresses capacity of which there are only 700 million addresses capacity left over.IPV4 will be left out with zero addresses capacity within 2 or 3 years.
A new version IPV6 the next generation internet has 340 trillion, trillion, trillion(340,282,366,920,938,463,463,374,607,431,768,211,456) web addresses capacity which is equal to all the sand crystals on the beaches around the world.
Efforts are being made to use next generation internet i.e,IPV6.
